Madison Roy
Meet the Artist
Madison Roy is an artist based in the central Arkansas area whose interests lie in animation, illustration, and graphic design for print and time-based media. She frequently collaborates with filmmakers, often working in the art department as production designer on independent and student short films. Her art has been shown at the UCA BFA/BA senior Exhibition where it received exhibition Honors as well as at both the 2023 and 2024 Neighbors Art Show at the Brick Room in Conway Arkansas. Additionally she has had her work featured in The Vortex Magazine of Literature and Fine Art.
Educational Background
Madison received a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from the University of Central Arkansas in 2024. During her time at university Madison focused on illustration and animation, working digitally as well as in charcoal and watercolor mediums. As part of a capstone project for the Schedler's Honors College, Madison created a five minute animated film inspired by classic children's illustration styles which won Best Short Under Five at the UCA Film Festival in 2024 and is slated to screen in several festivals in 2025 including New Filmmakers NY and the London Global Film Festival.
